Since the Android Bus app handles background audio playback and Delayed audio playback (playing the audio after a predefined time, so there is chance of playing during an improper time), there should not be any disturbance while speaking or attending a phone call. To esure this poper and required bhaviour we need your permission to access the Phone. The permission is requested only to check whether, is there any on going call or conversaton while the Android Bus is in use.
The other usage of this permission is to retrieve the IMEI of your device for licensing purpose in case if you are buying the paid/full version of this app. The retrieved IMEI is used to generate a unique ID. The generated ID is highly encrypted and not shared to any community in any form except with the developer owned private database for the Android Bus's license management.
Android Bus stores its data (Routes and user recorded audio) as disk files. These files can be shared with other Android Bus devices through any social media app. Since the creation of these files are expensive, it is stored in a location that will preserve these files during a temporary uninstallation, so by default, it is stored into the device's public document folder (Documents/AndroidBus/Routes) and Music folder (Music/AndroidBus/Audio). Storage permission is requested to access this public file locations. The Android Bus app does not even touch any of other Media contents in your device.
Android Bus has its own built in audio recorder for recording customized Announcements. The recorder has its own user interface and recording is only possible with the intervention of the user. No audio is recorded secretly. No audio files are shared with anyone. The audio recording process is carried out explicitly by the user. Audio recording cannot be started automatically.
The core functionality of the Android Bus is to read the highest accurate location of your device and do announcements when the predefined locations are present. To make this possible, highest accurate location permission is requested. The retrieved locations are not shared with any one within the App.
The Android Bus does not share any of your private data to any community. Regarding privacy and all other matters, the Android Bus is 100% safe.
